Michael Bristol

Michael G. Bristol, 68, husband of Barbara (Farrell) Bristol of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.
Born on February 27, 1953 in Herkimer, NY, he was the son of the late Donald J. and Evelyn (Hight) Bristol.

He graduated College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts on an ROTC scholarship and participated in Marine Boot Camp and Officer Candidate School at Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA.

He was a Math Teacher for 12 years and prior to that he worked as an Industrial Engineer in the apparel industry.

In retirement Mike enjoyed bike riding with Barb, gardening, carpentry, home improvement projects, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and annual family trips to Ocean City, New Jersey.

In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by 10 children:
Donald Bristol;
Kathleen Grayeske (Joseph);
Emily Bristol;
Michael Bristol (Bevan);
Julie Wilcox (Chris);
Sarah Bristol (Randy);
Thomas Bristol (Marie);
Richard Brenner (Alyssa);
Daniel Bristol (Maddie);
Margaret Bristol.

5 Grandchildren: Lynn, Sophia, Nathan, Conrad, and Shawn.

Sister, Evelyn Entwistle and brother, Donald Bristol, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lynn Bristol and sister, Dale DeAngelis.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mike’s Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 1:00 pm.  Preceding the Mass, visitation will be held in the Chapel from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm.

Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery.
